You don’t want new brows, you just want yours back.
You wake up in the morning and look in the mirror.
There she is. A face you know well, but one that looks slightly different these days.
You reach for the tweezers. No longer a tool used to tweak your eyebrows, but rather to pluck that ever-stubborn hair from your chin.
Great.
You lean a little closer to the mirror.
Your brows are still there. They're just not quite the brows you remember.
The tails have become a little sparse. There's a gap that wasn't there before. And another gap. The shape that once framed your eyes so effortlessly now seems to need a little encouragement. Support.
So you put down the tweezers and look for the brow pencil.
Nothing dramatic. Nothing anyone else should notice. Hopefully symmetrical today…
And so begins the familiar morning ritual.
Found the pencil. Can’t find the pencil sharpener but this’ll have to do. A little shading through the tail. A few strokes to fill the gaps.
You step back, tilt to one side, then the other,
Perhaps a touch more definition underneath.
Right, time to go.
You don't dislike your brows. You just spend five minutes every morning making them look slightly more like the brows you remember.
Five minutes.
Five minutes every morning. Five minutes before work. Five minutes before the gym. Five minutes after the gym. Five minutes before the school run. Five minutes before you've even had a proper cup of coffee.
Perhaps you've considered having your brows done.
You've looked at images, saved a few, read the reviews. Seen some beautiful results. Seen some scary results.
And that's where the hesitation begins.
Because you don't particularly want a whole new look.
You rather like your face, actually.
You don't want new brows. You want yours back.
You don’t necessarily want a whole new look.
You just want a bit of you back.
The softness of a brow that used to be fuller. The definition without the gaps. The framing of your eyes where the tails of your brows used to be.
There's a reason I love the consultation part of a brow appointment so much. It's where we get to talk about all those little things you've noticed, the things you miss, and what you'd love to see when you look in the mirror.
Powder Brows, Nano Brows, Microblading — these are all simply techniques I can use to bring to life brows that feel unmistakably you.
So you can look in the mirror and think...
Ah. There she is.
