What is Lip Blush?
Lip blush is a semi-permanent tattoo treatment where pigment is gently deposited into the lips to enhance colour, shape, and definition. Unlike traditional tattooing, the result is soft, natural, and designed to fade gradually over time.
Why people choose Lip Blush?
People choose lip blush because it:
Creates the illusion of fuller lips without filler
Improves lip symmetry and lip definition
Adds warm colour to uneven lip colour
Reduces the need for daily lipstick
Long-lasting results (typically 2–3 years)
Results vary depending on skin type and aftercare
Not sure if Lip Blush is right for you? A full consultation is included before treatment.
Who is Lip Blush for?
Lip blush is ideal if you:
Have pale, cool-toned or uneven lips
Want a natural “your lips but better” look
Have lost lip definition with age
Want to reduce daily makeup
Before & After Expectations
Immediately after treatment the colour appears bold and defined
During healing (7–10 days): Light peeling and softening of colour
Fully healed (4–6 weeks): Natural, subtle tint remains
A top-up session is recommended for best results
What Results Can You Expect?
The goal of lip blush is simple: to create a natural, balanced lip colour and shape that looks effortlessly enhanced every day. So you can expect:
Soft, natural-looking lip colour
More defined lip shape
A “your lips but better” finish
Reduced need for lipstick
Does Lip Blush hurt?
Most clients describe the treatment as mild discomfort rather than pain. A topical numbing agent is used throughout to keep you comfortable.
How long does Lip Blush last?
Lip blush typically lasts 2–3 years depending on skin type, lifestyle, and aftercare. The colour will gradually fade over time.

Can I have Lip Blush & Lip Filler?
Yes, many clients enjoy the benefits of lip blush in addition to lip filler. Leave a 2 week gap between any lip filler and lip blush appointments. Simply inform Ella that you have lip filler on the day of your appointment and she will take this into consideration during the lip blushing process.
FAQs
Please note, the answers to the below questions also apply to Ombre Lipliner.
How long does lip blush take to heal?
Will my lips look natural?
Can lip blush even out dark areas on lips?
Lip blush deposits colour just below the natural colour of the lips. The colour selected must be bolder than your natural lip colour to enjoy visible healed results. Therefore Lip Blush is suitable for melanin-rich lips, depending on the natural lip shade and the colour you wish to opt for. Lip Neutralisation is a treatment that will soften the natural lip shade and make way for a broader range of lip blush colours to be enjoyed.
Initial healing takes around 7–10 days, with full results visible after 4–6 weeks.
Yes — results are designed to enhance your natural lip colour, not replace it.
Lip neutralisation treatments may be required for darker tones (coming soon).
Who is not suitable for Lip Blush?
Pregnant or breastfeeding
Prone to cold sores (requires precautions)
Certain medical conditions (discuss in consultation)
